What is a camera?

4 basic components that all cameras have

• lens
• body
• power source
• view finder

lens: capture light

body: formatting, records image

1080x720 aspect ratio

1080 resolution (HD) - how many lines that sweep across the screen

power source: battery

view finder: lets you see what you are filming

Tripod

-use gravity to put down the legs

-spirit bubble - leveling the legs

-pan lock

-tilt lock

Camera:

Use manual mode for camera

Initialize camera when first received
